​Where do you see yourself in the future of Security Guard Group?

I like what I am doing now. Coming in every day, working hard and being reliable.

​What initiated you to become a security guard?

The past few years I have aimed to walk 10,000 steps a day. It occurred to me that a security guard usually walks a lot during their shift, providing patrols and keeping a good watch on things.
I figured having a job that requires a lot of movement, while getting paid, is a win-win.

​What excites you about your role at SGG?

It's a multi-faceted role. The main focus is protecting people and assets, but you are also a customer relations representative, and you serve as the eyes and ears to provide preventative maintenance by delivering a proactive approach that helps keep a property safe and functioning well. All of these things require good communication skills, which I think is a strength of mine.
I like helping to fix problems before they become a major issue.

​What is your best memory at SGG?

Getting a kind word from a client thanking me for going above and beyond in communicating possible issues and doing my job in a visible manner.
