Dinesh Singh Malla

Security Guard

How long have you been working with us?

I have been with the Security Guard Group since October 2024, and it has been an incredibly rewarding experience.

What is your best memory at SGG?

One very cold late night, the President and Director of Operations personally visited the site to ensure everyone had access to a warm space. They took the time to speak with each team member individually, asking if any improvements were needed. This thoughtful gesture demonstrated genuine care and commitment to the well-being of the team, making it a moment I will never forget. It reinforced my pride in working for an organization that truly values its people.

Where do you see yourself in the future of Security Guard Group?

I see myself growing into a leadership role at SGG, where I can contribute more to the training and mentorship of new guards while continuing to enhance my skills. Additionally, I would be happy to serve as a member of the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC). I believe this is an excellent opportunity to contribute positively to our team and workplace environment. My goal is to inspire others through my work ethic, foster a culture of safety and care, and ensure that SGG continues to be a professional and supportive organization for both employees and clients.

What initiated you to become a security guard?

I became a security guard to build on my 10+ years of experience as an international frontline humanitarian worker, with the goal of growing my expertise in this sector. I chose this profession to actively contribute to the safety of the community and the nation while continuing to support others. SGG has given me the perfect platform to pursue this career, and I look forward to making a meaningful impact every day.

What excites you about your role at SGG?

I had the privilege of working as an international frontline humanitarian worker for over 10 years, where I developed a deep sense of responsibility and resilience. Joining SGG allows me to bring that experience into a new context, ensuring safety and care for others in a professional environment. This role excites me because it not only enhances my skills but also gives me the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.
