Ontario Security Guard Course Online

Here are the steps to start your licensing process in the Province of Ontario:

1- MEET THE BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Have a clean criminal record
• Can legally work in Canada

2- GET YOUR FIRST AID CERTIFICATION

This certificate is required, and it must be obtained from a WSIB Approved provider. Our First Aid Classes meet this requirement, and you will receive the official certificate from the Canadian Red Cross.

First Aid Cost: $119.00 + HST [must be renewed every 3-5 years]

3- TAKE OUR ONLINE TRAINING

Purchase this security guard course and utilize our online platform to complete it at your convenience.

Security Guard Course Cost: $79.99 + HST [one-time fee]

4- TAKE THE MINISTRY EXAM

The ministry exam is done by Serco Canada (Drive Test Centers). It can also be completed online.

Exam Cost: $60.50 [one-time fee]

5- OBTAIN CRJMC (Criminal Records and Judicial Matters Check)

You can obtain this certificate by us which is usually processed within 1 to 2 business days. CLICK HERE to get your CRJMC with us. 

6- SUBMIT ONTARIO LICENSE APPLICATION

This is the final step to becoming a licensed security guard in Ontario.

Application Fee: $80.00 [must be renewed every two years]

Students have 31 days to complete the course from the date of purchase. If additional time is required, the student may repurchase the course through the platform to receive an additional 31-day access period.
