How long have you been with us?
I have been with the company since March 1, so eight months.
What do you do at Security Guard Group?
I perform security and concierge duties at the location where I work. I help clients and visitors locate the right individual or department. I ensure everything and everyone is safeguarded. I make sure all the equipment is secure and cannot be accessed by unauthorized individuals. I log all visitors and ensure that their badges are scanned. I also keep records of all the activity at the site. I collect and report any concerns or issues to my manager. Doing this work requires discretion, patience, and excellent customer service skills.
What did initiate you to become a security guard?
I worked in a call center for nine years. I sat in a cubicle on the phone. I wanted a job where I could move around and not be verbally abused all the time, so I chose security work. It has been gratifying so far.
What do you like about working at Security Guard Group?
Everything and everyone. It is the folks who make the work more enjoyable, from management to guards. You know what I mean, right? Being an employee instead of an employee number makes the work worthwhile. From the hiring process to daily activities, being an SGG employee means that you are part of something bigger than yourself. You are a member of a team that makes a difference in the lives of others. You are a piece of the puzzle that makes this company the best in the industry. You are part of a culture that makes you proud each and every day.
What is your best memory at Security Guard Group?
Honestly, my best memory is my interactions with management. They are easy to talk to and have a good sense of humor. They also make sure to help you with any issues or concerns you may have. Management at Security Guard Group is very helpful and supportive, and that makes Security Guard Group great to work for.
Tell us your best day at Security Guard Group?
My best day was my first day with the company. I was leaving a very stressful job behind and beginning a new phase of my life. I started my first day with a fresh outlook on life and an eagerness to learn. From the very first day, I was welcomed into the company with open arms and a genuine desire to see me succeed. The culture within the company was one of a supportive and close-knit family. Every day, I am still amazed at the amount of support and genuine care that flows through the company. I have been given every opportunity to succeed, and I have never been more excited in my life.
Where do you see yourself in the future of Security Guard Group?
I enjoy the work that I do and the people that I work with. I see a long future with SGG because I am dedicated to growing in the position that I have and always looking to learn more and better my skills.

When did you start working with us?
I started working almost 6 or 7 months ago. It was April.
Is this your first security job?
Yes. It is my first security job. I really enjoy working here. I can't say enough how much I like it.
What do you do at Security Guard Group?
I work as a security guard in a meat factory. My responsibilities include issuing badges for the visitors
and patrolling around the building to ensure its security.
What do you like about working at Security Guard Group?
I love meeting new people, seeing new faces every day, and getting to know new cultures. Ensuring
safety and helping other people are the top values in my life. That is why this position is tailored for me.
What is your best memory at Security Guard Group?
Once, I took one exceptional course related to my study. Initially, the course was scheduled to be online.
But later, the college changed the program delivery method from online to in-person. At that time, I
needed too many day-offs from the work. My supervisor and my director helped me a lot to set my
schedule according to my classes. The management team in Security Guard Group is people focused.
They always try to find ways to make our lives better.
Could you tell us about your best day at Security Guard Group?
I can’t tell. Because every day is the best day in SGG. I really enjoy working here. Each day, I enjoy every
second of it. Communicating with new people, gaining an understanding of what they are saying,
assisting them, and ensuring their protection is what makes my life enjoyable.

How long have you been with us?
I have been with this precious organization for little more than a year now.
What do you do at Security Guard Group?
My job role is to complete the assigned tasks and complete my job duties maintaining the safe environment for everyone either be it the covering of a special event for crowd control or to make sure equipments’ safety from theft, vandalism, and/or unauthorized use at regular job sites.
What excites you about your role at Security Guard Group?
The most exciting part of the job is that we get a-lot of exposure in the field, acting as company’s face starting a new site communicating with clients for the first time , covering special events like music festivals as it also helps us improve our social skills.
What is your best memory at Security Guard Group?
My best memory of working at SGG is how helpful our team is, there was a time when i had to call sick for a week because of back pain, and our director of operations and our supervisor both were very supportive and they even helped me after those sick day off by letting me choose my schedule according to my comfort.

Covering a special event is always on the list of best days I have at SGG.
