Why do you need this course?
Before writing your provincial exam and applying for the Ontario Security Guard license, students are required to complete the 40-hour basic security guard course which is split between 33.5 hours of online learning and a one-day in-class First Aid Certificate. Security Guard Group provides both.

Online Ontario Security Guard License Course
$59.99 for the entire course

After the completion of the course, we will request a digital copy of your Emergency First Aid Training. Once we receive a copy of your Emergency First Aid Certification, we will submit your information to Serco and provide you with Training Completion Number (TCN) which is generated by Serco. After you receive your TCN, you will be able to book a testing date. You can CLICK HERE to book a test.
Additionally, if you wish to complete your course in-person with another training provider you can find a list of all authorized training entities by CLICKING HERE.

First Aid Certification
We recommend obtaining your First Aid certification through us as we are able to provide you with Canadian Red Cross Certification. This First Aid Certificate is WSIB approved across Ontario and a portion of the course can be done online. You book the First Aid Course by visiting the booking portion of our website. You can choose one of the following courses to obtain your Training Completion Number:

•You have 31 days to complete the course. Extensions are priced at $25.00 for 7 days or $44.99 for 31 days. (HST is not included.)
