Over the past few years, the competition in the security services field has become fierce. According to the published Annual Report from the Ministry of the Solicitor General there were 335 new Agency licenses issued in 2020 alone allowing businesses across Ontario to choose a variety of service providers. With so much choice on who to work with, it can be an overwhelming task to choose the right security partner. What Does Hands on Mean
The founders of Security Guard Group had spent many years working in the Private Security industry and heard countless numbers of challenges their clients faced in finding the right partner and retaining that partnership. While some organizations were too small-scaled or too large to meet their specific needs, we knew we could do better.
Since our inception in 2018, we have managed to become one of Ontario’s largest providers of professional security services. While we have dramatically grown by offering the reliability and flexibility of a large company, we remain devoted to providing a personal touch for each client we service. Our company’s leaders remain hands-on with our clients bringing to the table decades of national and international experience, often meeting with clients and their representatives to ensure the service standards remain high.
Our Directors maintain on-field presence communicating with our Ontario security guards on daily basis. We are firm believers in Open Door Policy with our personnel and ensure every guard, supervisor or manager can reach a Director of the company when they need to. Recently, our Director of Operations visited our Ottawa Branch and put on his tactical gear to spend some time with our tactical guards in the field. While on the field, it was refreshing to watch the sharing of practical knowledge and coaching with our team members. This is just one example of our senior leadership’s practices and to show presence and support especially with the current high turnover trend in the workforce. This hands on involvement with our personnel and clients truly separates us from the remainder of the security industry as we always strive to forge a partnership with our clients and personnel and that’s what makes the fastest growing security services company in all of Ontario.
